15-03-2010 - The medical post is ready!

After a long time of construction, the medical post was finished just before Mariette and Moses came back from Holland. They discovered some mistakes here and there, which were quickly solved by the carpenter and the painter. Last week the medical post was officially ready.

It did not take long before Mariette, Moses, the older girls and the volunteers had moved everything from the old office to the new one in the medical post. Because except from a treatmentroom, a consultationroom and a bathroom, the new post also houses a computerroom, a storage room and an office. By now, the laptops and the tables and stools were put in the computerroom and Raphael, the secretary, feels at home at his new, spacious office. Mariette, Moses and Raphael are proud to welcome their guests from now on to a place that is not, at the same time, being used as a storage for the children's toys, food and wheelchairs. The old office was tidied up and cleaned and will be used as an artroom and library for now.

The cupboard with all the plasters, bandages and syringes has been put in the medical post and every child now has his own box with insurance papers and medicines. The medical post will be fully used when suitable staff is found.
